As part of the comprehensive overhaul, the CR-V received a new suspension, and its ride is now smoother than ever before. The standard engine is a 184-horsepower, 2.4-liter 4-cylinder, while upper trim levels offer a 190-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder. Shifting is handled smoothly by a continuously variable automatic transmission. The CR-V promises fantastic gas mileage among its rivals, especially with the turbocharged engine option. When equipped to tow, the SUV can pull a total of 1,500 pounds.
